Terms & Cons

The Short Version
- We rely on you
- You can rely on us
- You pay on time, we provide the agreed services on time
- We try to help wherever we can and be the best partner agency, but expect the same vice versa from our clients and business partners
- We are responsible for delivering a great service, but are not responsible for the behaviour and actions of the tour guests in particular
- We expect and provide fairness, transparency and reliability at any given time and expect the same from anybody working with us or being on our tours.
Let's get the job done, enjoy and have a memorable time in Ireland without any major hick-ups :-)
Payments by private clients
- Before any services are executed, both parties will agree in writing about the nature of the service, the time of execution and any involved fees.
- Private clients are then asked to pay their full outstanding balance before the services of our agency start. This applies to itinerary design and consultation calls.
- Guiding services need to be paid in full up to eight weeks before the start of travel
Cancellation fees apply thereafter:
- 25% of the payable amount 8-4 weeks before departure
- 50% of the payable amount 4-2 weeks before departure
- 75% of the payable amount 2-1 week before departure
- 100% of the payable amount 1 week or less before departure
- Should the guiding service not be available (e.g. due to illness), clients will be immediately notified and provided with an alternative, if available. Should payments have already been made, these will be refunded to the source of payment.
- Should the client make use of our booking services, the full amount must be paid, including the agreed service fee, before we can start the same. We reserve the right to increase fees charged to our clients due to VAT changes or unexpected price changes by third party providers or partnerts.
- Should the journey be cancelled by the client, we will help to ask our partners for refunds. However, the terms and conditions of our partners in this case apply, and only refundable charges will be reimbursed to our clients.
- All payments have to be made online securely through our payment partner Stripe. We do not have access to the financial data of our clients at any given time.
- When booking our services, the clients confirm by their booking in writing or through our website that they are aware of the payment terms, that they have read and accepted them and accept them as binding.
- We reserve the right to ask for pre-payments, depending, once based outside of the European Union and the UK. This will be clearly communicated at the contract stage.

Liability Waiver
At any stage, we aim to provide the best possible service to our private and business clients. However, as an agency, we are responsible for delivering the agreed services, but are not legally or financially responsible for:
General:
- Any form of disruptions of or (part-)cancellations to tour programs outside of our control. This can be, but is not limited to, strikes of all kinds, traffic disruptions, weather conditions, and services not available in the booked form by third-party providers
- The execution and provision, and quality of services by third parties
- The execution of guiding services in areas deemed as dangerous regardless of their location
- To mind minors under the age of 21 or guests with severe physical or mental health conditions
It is the guest's duty and the duty of the tour operator to ensure
- the guests are well informed about all aspects of the booked tour
- the guests are physically fit
- carry all valid travel and visa documents and financial resources,
- have a suitable travel insurance
- have international access to phone and communication services
- are equipped in the right way, in particular for off-road excursions
- will not book physically demanding tours in case of health problems before the journey.
- to bring the correct amount of personal medication and prescription documents for the same
- to advise about any dietary or special needs requirements in each location visited and upfront of the tour start
Should any walks or hikes be involved, the guide strives to maintain the highest level of safety; however, each guest is responsible for themselves, particularly in outdoor areas. Should accidents, injuries, or worse occur, these are outside the guide's responsibility and liability and are solely within the guest's responsibility, including all consequences. This also applies to all forms of walking tours.
Tour guests are responsible for the safekeeping and storage of their own valuables, cash, credit cards and the prevention of theft. Any theft and the consequences are outside of the guides and the agency's responsibility. However, we will certainly help in whichever way we can.
Tour guests are asked to maintain a respectful, fair and friendly behaviour towards each other, tour staff and personnel of third-party suppliers at all times. Anti-social behaviour, bullying, racism or any form of aggression or violence will not be tolerated, and we reserve the right to discontinue guiding services as a last resort without entitlement to any refund.
